Tomi ("we", "us") provides an assistant that places phone calls on your behalf. This page explains what data we process and why.
To place the call you requested, report the outcome back to you, and operate the credit and billing system described at /topup. We may also review call recordings, transcripts, and metadata internally — for quality assurance, to investigate failed calls, to respond to your support requests, and to detect abuse or fraud. We do not use your call data for advertising or sell it to anyone.
We do not sell your data or the data of anyone you ask us to call.
Calls placed through Tomi are recorded and transcribed — that is how we produce the report and transcript you receive. The AI agent identifies itself as an automated assistant at the start of every call; this disclosure cannot be turned off.
Laws on recording phone calls differ by country and, in some countries, by state or region: some require the consent of one party only, others require the consent of everyone on the call ("two-party" or "all-party" consent). When a call is placed to a destination we treat as all-party consent, Tomi additionally speaks a short "this call is recorded" notice at the start, on top of the AI disclosure.
You choose the number and the destination, so you — not Tomi — are solely responsible for ensuring the call and its recording are lawful in the relevant jurisdictions (including where the person you are calling is located). By asking Tomi to place a call you confirm that, and accept responsibility for that determination. If you are unsure, do not place the call.
Our website uses Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica to understand how visitors find and use the site (pages viewed, referring source, approximate region). These tools set their own cookies and process usage data on our behalf; IP addresses are anonymized where the tool supports it, and Yandex.Metrica additionally records anonymized session replays (Webvisor, with form input masked). This is about website visitors, not the calls you place — it is separate from the call data described above.
Analytics cookies are not essential to running the site, so where the law requires your prior agreement — the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — we do not load Google Analytics or Yandex.Metrica at all until you accept. Declining is a single click and costs you nothing: the scripts are simply never placed in the page, so there is nothing to block. Elsewhere they load by default, and you can still decline at any time; your choice is remembered for six months in a tomi_consent cookie, which is the only cookie we set for this purpose. You can also use a browser tracker-blocker or the vendors’ own opt-out tools.
When a payment completes, our server reports the sale to Google Analytics directly: the amount, the order id and the internal account identifier the payment was credited to. This is how we tell which marketing channels actually produce paying customers — the browser alone can only see that you returned from the payment page, not whether the payment succeeded. It does not include your name, email, phone number or anything about the calls you placed. Because this is sent by our server rather than by your browser, a tracker-blocker does not stop it — declining analytics does, and if you decline we do not send it.
Call audio is kept for about 30 days, then deleted. Call transcripts and billing records are kept for as long as your account is active, so you can review past calls, and as needed to resolve disputes.
You can request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting support@tomi.tel.
